On March 9th, we said goodbye to Hank.
We shared our best memories of him, his accomplishments and his jokes. We also read excerpts of his best friends on the row who sent beautiful messages of what they shared with him as well as a very moving message from his lawyers.
We hope he is at peace now, although his innocence was never acknowledged or recognized by the legal system which wrongfully sentenced him to death. Thank you to all his friends from far away who were there for him for all these years. He is greatly missed but not forgotten!
And now? Sadness is not an option, and the best way to honor Hank’s memory is to act, supporting the Texas After Violence Project. Thank you!
