Sadness is not an option
And now, we must all move forward without forgetting Hank and what we shared with him.
Hank did not like cut flowers, he loved them in their natural environment. So if you were considering sending flowers, please instead make a donation to the Texas After Violence Project in Hank’s name, thank you!
Moving on does not mean giving up. The death row families and friends, who endure pressure, disrespect, humiliation from TDCJ year after year, must stand up together to bring changes to the rules that serve zero penological purposes and cause unnecessary trauma.
Sadness is not an option and the best way to honor Hank’s memory is to act! Thank you in advance for your generosity.
